CoCo Sri Lanka E-Learning Center

CoCo has donated a brand new E-learning center to kids in Sri Lanka, creating a brighter future for the next generation.

 

Nuwara Eliya, referred as the city of light and is the highest highland community in Sri Lanka. It has the perfect climate for tea growing and with Rainforest Alliance Certification making this region’s tea industry blessed of not only great care of the environment but also caring benefits of the workers including accommodation, education and medicine. All attributes to the guarantee of our tea quality. This is why CoCo chooses Sri Lanka Ceylon Black Tea as our principle tea. 
 

In the spirit of Rainforest Alliance and to contribute our part to this land, we decided to donate an E-Learning Center to the children of local community. We hope through learning resourceful knowledge by applying internet of thing and build on better future for their homeland.

There were many disruptions through bad weather from the last two years, but we endured the difficulties and have transformed an empty land to a special designed E-Learning Center for the children.  

An opening ceremony was hosted in a very traditional manner while CoCo E-learning Center welcomes our first group of students. Students were very welcoming to this great gift with big wide smells.


We will do whatever we can to bring assistance to the children of the farmers. Whether a cup of tea or a charity, CoCo will always be there and contribute with full heart.
